Annsimone Mickelberry is a locally based Author & Illustrator. She works in a multitude of mediums, including pen and ink, pencil, acrylic, watercolor, charcoal, wire wrapping and sculpture. She has also worked as a professional writer and editor/producer for both print and broadcast media. Her experience is vast and varied. She is a firm believer that to create art is to live as fully as possible.

Annsimone has worked as a News Journalist, Newspaper Editor, Print and Broadcast Reporter, Television Producer, Television Host, Writer, Doll-Sculptor, Comic Book Illustrator, Business Owner, Hair Extension and Replacement Specialist, Art Instructor, Jewelry Maker, Preschool Teacher, 2nd Grade Instructor and a stay at home mom.

She has a Bachelor of Arts in Electronic Media and Broadcast Journalism Communications from the University of Oregon. She has an Associate of Arts, an Associate of Science and an Associate of General Studies from Portland Community College. She is licensed in cosmetology through Oregon Health and Licensing Agency. She attended Beau Monde College of Hair Design and Cosmetology Careers Unlimited.
